Super cool atmosphere! It's located in an historical brick building, Northfield, MN. Seems to be very popular, so reservations might not be a bad idea. That being said, my group of 4 did NOT have reservations, and still got a table once our entire group arrived. (Their policy is to not seat you until your whole group is present.) Very professional, knowledgeable, friendly staff. Food was prompt + delicious.
I was here for lunch during the week. The gluten-free pasta was really good and I was impressed with how much meat was in it. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly. I didn't realize there was an outdoor patio and plan to check that out next time!

What a wonderful place to have our Birthday Party!! The 8 of us had a fine time near the kitchen at the high table!! Our server Leah (husband is the Chief) was fantastic! A full bag of coffee is the new formula for the coffee I hope!! The food matched the service, we of course helped the friendly atmosphere as did the staff! Thank you for a really nice place to have a small party! BTW, stirring your hot fresh coffee before dipping it into the coffee cheese cake is a must try!! Mmmmmm I had the Spicy Cajun Shrimp pasta!! Soo good!
The food was fabulous-we had the chicken tenders and mushroom Swiss burger- wow! We will be back when we visit again. The old fashions were the best I have had-bartender Maxim was so kind to share his knowledge as well. We will stop by again for sure! This was excellent!
Great place for a pre-ultra run place to eat. It filled our anxious stomachs with quality and clean food to fuel our endeavor. Signe (according to the receipt) was a fantastic waitress. Great experience, thank you.
Food, service and atmosphere was just what I was looking for. The Walleye dinner with a side of brussel sprouts and risotto hit the spot and the 1/2 price wine bottle deal was a nice surprise. Great little patio to enjoy the mild temps. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. Great experience!
Here moving my son into Carleton College. Looking for a place close to have lunch. The food was amazing. The staff was friendly and the service was quick.
This is an absolute must stop if you’re in the area! Max is one of the most brilliant bartenders in the business. Seriously. I was in the hospitality industry for almost 15yrs and he is fantastic. Sit at the bar and let him treat you to one of his infamous cocktails. Loved the Da Uffda and the Aphrodite’s Elixir. Don’t sleep on the chicken tenders or the Brussel sprouts. They also have live music! 10/10!!!
The waitress was amazing. I wish I would have caught her name. She came to check on us often, but not too often where it was annoying. The drinks were amazing. The food was amazing. The ambiance was amazing! I absolutely loved it!
